Gadsden City High School was formed through the consolidation of Emma Sansom, Gadsden and Litchfield High Schools. Consolidation brought the bands of these three schools together and through leadership of the directors a cohesive unit now known as the Titan Band was formed.

The Marching Band has appeared in 2006 Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade, 2007 Governor’s Inaugural Parade, 2007 Fiesta Bowl Parade, 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade – New York City, 2009 Fantasy of Lights Parade – Gatlinburg, TN, and the 2010 Kai Chirstmas Parade in Hawaii.

In addition to an award-winning marching band, the consolidation has allowed the Titan band program to also maintain a concert band, jazz band and symphonic band.
