Etowah County Band Exhibition
September 13, 2011

High School Bands from Etowah County will gather at Gadsden City High School, Titan Stadium, on September 13th to present their halftime performance. With current football scheduling, we seldom have an opportunity to watch performances from other schools in the area. The exhibition provides this opportunity in a comfortable environment. Please support our county's students by coming to the county exhibition at Titan Stadium, September 13, 2011.

ABA Music Performance Assessment

February 29 through March 2, 2012

The purpose of the Alabama Bandmasters Music Performance Assessment is to give qualified bands the opportunity to be evaluated and criticized by a panel of qualified adjudicators. The panel shall consist of three (3) concert adjudicators and one (1) sight-reading adjudicator. Bands are classed by enrollment size of the school and are evaluated within the classification. Bands typically will perform three selections within a period of time not to exceed twenty-five minutes, though at option, bands may perform only two selections. One selection must be from the cumulative list for the band’s classification or higher.
